The clients for this residence envisioned a three-storey sanctuary, one that would flawlessly fit into the natural context without disturbing the presence of trees rooted in the site.
Our Conceptual Approach: For us, the Pushpaj Residence began with a clear commitment—designing an abode that doesn’t merely complement its natural setting, rather grows from it.
The site primarily features five trees, including those of fruits like Mango and Jamun that act as the focal points for different zones within the layout.
Besides creating compact courtyards and shaded retreats, the trees blend in with the three-storey structure to blur the line between indoors and outdoors. The large openings coupled with an earthy colour palette only add to the seamlessness of the indoor-outdoor transition while flooding the interiors with sunlight and fresh air.
